 Here is a picture of my scrap space!  

Yes, this is our dining table..looking nice and tidy..obviously I haven't been started scrapping yet today!..I love creating here in the natural light and looking out at the garden.. Because I don't have any storage near me this antique tea trolley is very handy and can be pulled up next to the table...

It holds most of my art supplies, favourite embellisments, needles and thread, pens, a few stamps and inks (many of which have come from Citrus Twist kits)..the bottom shelf holds all my punches, cuttlebug and embossing folders..

Another favourite collection are these colourful washi tapes..

..which I've stored in an old drawer found in a local antique shop last year :)

citrus twist - this is my life kit..

hey there, here are a few layouts done recently with the simply beautiful kits from Citrus Twist...for each layout I've combined bits and pieces from both the 'this is my life' main kit and 'life is good' embellishment kit.. I've used Kasia's fun sketch for this one..

how sweet is this handmade flower?...it's topped with a heart button

I adore this Pebbles paper..and have used some hand-cut triangles on every layout ;)

I've coloured the thickers here with the lovely and soft' worn jeans' Prima ink from the main kit..

JBS Shares..

So far this year..blogging time for me has been few and far between..so it's about time I share with you a few recent pages using some beautiful Jenni Bowlin products.. This one was for ScrapFriends and there's also a step-by-step tutorial showing how I alterered the JBS chipboard buttons here 

this layout was created for the JBS blog theme 'using JBS cut files' 

I've used the backdrops 1 cut file on this page..in 3 different ways.. firstly I've used the circles as a stencil to dab paint through.. then I've misted them ink ink and 'printed off' the excess mist over the painted circles.. 

..and finally I've layered the misted circle diecut under the paper layers

 ..and here's another layout for the JBS blog during the lead up to Christmas..

I've used a couple more of the altered chipboard buttons shown above..

Well I'm a little caught up now, I'll be back to share some more scraps very soon..

stuck on you @ KIU

Another fabbo challenge has gone up at Kraft it Up today!..and it's such a great way to get all those sticky supplies from your stash..especially the older ones and have a play!! ..so the challenge is:

This month I want to see some creative uses for sticker embellishments, now all of us have them, they can be epoxy, journaling, chipboard, fabric stickers, lettering or decorative borders the list goes on...

I've used a bunch of banner stickers from a couple of different Lilybee lines and created a bit of a border with them.. 

Other adhesive goodies included are American Crafts flair, MME stickers and chipboard and some gorgeous Prima rhinestones..

citrus twist shares...part two

Hello..back again wtih another couple of layouts using the gorgeous January kits from Citrus Twist...
Once again I've used the main, add-on and embellishment kits for both of these..

I made the little flag using some pattern paper and toothpick from the embellie kit..

..and used some green washi behind the 'today' tag...  

and oh how beautiful is this Crate Paper chipboard butterfly?

this layout's of Rhi who's been spending a lot of time behind the camera recently and looking forward to studying photography at college this year..

..and the good thing is I've still got plenty of yummy  stuff left over so stay tuned for a part 3 soon :)

citrus twist shares...part one

Here are the first 2 layouts made with this month's GORGEOUS Citrus Twist kits..I've used the main, add-on and embellishment kit. The kits were all so hot that they have completely sold out!

This layout is also a 'simple stategies' blog post here. You can see the steps I've taken to finish it off..

This layout also includes items from all 3 kits.. just love how they co-ordinate so beautifully..

I've used the Prima ink pad in the main kit to colour these plain thickers..

yummy scrap #9

It's time an exciting time at ScrapFriends...not only is there an amazing sketch challenge running there's this gorgeous colour challenge...and a new design team!

Here's my take on this fresh colour palette above..

I've used some of my fave products from the ScrapFriends store on this layout including some cool Evalicious flair badges, SODAlicious wooden stars and a Jenni Bowlin paint dabber. I will also be sharing a step-by-step on how I created this layout in a couple of weeks time..so hope you can check back..
