I've been seeing lots of the hexagonal trend around the galleries lately and once I got my hands on a sheet of the gorgeous' be amazing' paper from MME I had to have a go myself..
I've handcut a few out and stitched down in a messy fashion (yep..the only one I know how to do) with the sewing machine..
I love the colours in this layout..so soft and fresh, think I'll be doing a few more like this soon...do you have a fave colour scheme at the moment too? would love to hear it...Gx

was miss Jem during a bushwalking trip earlier this year.. it was in the midst of summer but still snowed where they walked..in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park..
I created this layout for the recent Cocoa Daisy crop.. as you can see I had oodles of fun with my new white Mister Huey spray and other Studio Calico papers.. I sprayed through some die cut paper and then used the inked up side to reverse print..
the touches of blue and green were added using the gorgeous Portfolio oil pastels.. and a section of die cut paper has been stitched behind the photo with a few strips of washi tape..

...to be scrapping with this month's gorgeous Nook kit..featuring Echo Park This & That Graceful, Maya Road canvas butterflies and petaloo flowers.. I created this layout of Rhi celebrating her very special 'real' birthday 29th February!
I've used a few torn strips of dress pattern and a chipboard button from my stash, a little fussy cutting of papers and layering,,then some mister huey and glimmer mist splatters to finish off..
I also made this card for my gorgoeus mum for Mother's Day last Sunday.. the canvas butterfly has been dyed with a couple of glimmer mists..
I'll definitely be back to share some more creations with this kit soon..thanks so much for popping in here! Gxox
many a treat is shared between the girls and I..and one of their fave places to do so is a Dome Cafe...the iced chocolates are to die for apparently.. here is one of these moments.. and no Rhi didn't drink both of them..Jem some how managed to espcape the camera this time..
I scrapped this layout for the recent Movie Madness Crop at the Nook...
My challenge was to draw inspo from a movie poster..there were a few options but I chose this one..the rich colours and vintage themes appealed to me.. and the segmented clock in particular, so I've tried to replicated using scraps of patterned paper and vintage dress pattern.. the love ly cog stamp above is from 7 Gypsies..

here's another layout using the March BOY (book of you) kit from Scrapboxx..I love the combination of gold, teal, red, black and white in this kit.. I've used the 'too good to throw out' packaging from the Crate Paper buttons behind the photo..
I've used a mix of paints on this one including glimmer mist, sei tumble dye and gesso.. and the paper was just asking to be cut up into little tickets..
the large paper flower is so gorgeous..loving the shadows it casts..

I had a fun time playing with some gorgeous Lil' Red Rocket goodies recently and knocked out this layout of my two during a recent holiday.. the photo was taken in a beautiful, historic Tasmanian town of Ross...
I've used this cute heart button and also half of a vintage camera journaling card..
I've also added some layered scraps of paper, punched shapes and embossed off cuts.., some old dress pattern paper, gesso and black ink splatter..
the sweet plum resin bird is from D-Lish Scraps..
