Shadow Shot Sunday ~ #33

Rhiannon recently spent a weekend away at Bicheno with her Pop and did some
fishing, bike riding, beach combing, as well as penguin,  seal and whale watching!
She took heaps of photos including these awesome shadows for me to share for SSS..

that's it for the shadows..and just 'cause these pics were too good not to share...

Rhi's only catch but it was a beauty!..yummy perch too :)

I've gone all prehistoric and 'jurassic' today..these photos were taken during my 
 little trip with Jem recently at the Melbourne Museum

you can see my camera on the left here..it was difficult to get a good shot as there 
 were about 5 school groups in the room with us!! very excited school groups :)

I spotted this one earlier this week after washing up..I left our large chopping board upright
to drain in the sink and the little row of succulent plants on the widow sill cast this shadow..
it was so sweet..I think one of my favourite SS's so far. Wishing you a happy Sunday...
it's pouring with rain here this morning..so the girls and I are off to the swimming

Finally..a shadow shot..opportunities to catch shadows have been few and far between
here lately..lucky to grab this one during the week, in a little potted plant on my deck

well we've actually had a couple of days with sun this week so snapped

I found this guy lurking on my kitchen wall this afternoon..I haven't noticed him
there before..wonder if he'll visit me again some day..



Oh wait..I'm sure he will..the next time we feast on some pasta for lunch :)

Shadows and Happy Mother's Day!

We had a lovely afternoon with my parents..in the foothills of Mt. Wellington. which
included a picnic lunch, thermoses of hot coffee and Rhiannon's yummy banana cake
...and of course I couldn't help but notice these shadows on the old stone hut..
It's been too far long between shadows and I've certainly had withdrawals!! ..so
will be popping over to Hey Harriet's next for my dose!

SSS #25 and Sunday's flowers..

There's not a great deal in flower at the moment, but while in the garden today,
the Japanese wind flowers were looking pretty nice..



and I noticed this interesting shadow cast by some lemon balm..

This is an early morning shot of Lake Rhona, Southwest National Park taken by M
at the end of last year. I love the rugged landscape and bronze colours of the
buttongrass moorland in the foreground.
