Chocolate Tart & Book Tag

Firstly, I did promised to share the recipe for the chocolate tart
that I made over Easter and posted a photo of here. So it's now
in my recipe list in the right hand side bar. Here is the link

 The original recipe came from The Australian Women's Weekly
'Wicked Sweet Indulgences Cookbook, but I have adapted it slightly
to make a quicker version. Perfect for a special occasion :O)

Also, I have been tagged by the lovely Pat at  Mille Fiori Favoriti.

Here are the rules of the book tag:
Pick up a book of at least 123 pages
Open the book to page 123
Find the fifth sentence
Post the next three sentences
Tag five people to do the same

So I chose the book I am reading at the moment:

Puppies for Dummies!!
2nd Edition
by Sarah Hodgson

Page 123 ~ 5th sentence..here goes...

'Most communities have leash laws. Dogs left outside are stolen.
People are even more dog phobic. Unfortunately, times have
changed, and new problems are cropping up.'

Now.. this doesn't really make that much sense without the
preceding 4 sentences so I will also sneak them in..

'One of the hallmarks of my childhood was my dog, Shawbee,
who was a Husky-Shepherd mix. She was my constant companion,
waiting for me at the bus stop, hanging outside the church while
I took ballet lessons, sharing my ice cream cone on a hot summer
Nowadays, dogs and kids rarely have the freedom to bond this way.
The world today is different from when I was a child, we have computers.'

Hi Gina, a great book tag. It seems such a shame if this is the case, why can't people make time for dogs, and computers? I for one, love to see dogs with ice-cream around their faces. Lovely recipe too, I often adapt them to make easier or to not include ingredients I haven't got to hand! x

Hello Gina. I will play along with the book tag at some stage. I am not sure I can stick to the rules exactly though as being a relatively new blogger, I don't think I'll find another 5 bloggers to tag! I liked the little snippet of information about dogs!

I loved look of the chocolate tart so I'll go check out the recipe to save it for a special occasion. I'm struggling with a diet now since our summer will be here soon and my coat will come off :-)
