Light and delicious lemonade scones.. recipe courtesy of The Bird Bath blog
1 cup lemonade1 cup cream3 cups self-raising flourMix and bake in the normal way.. I'm guessing the lemonade makes them light..The recipe made a bigger batch than our regular ~ 24 medium sized sconesSo simple..I can see this will be a popular after school treat in our house!
Those scones look scrumptious!

I haven't ever heard of anything like this. I am definitely going to try these, they are so easy to make and look absolutely amazing. I have some relies from Adelaide coming over for tea soon, I am sure they would like these, and be so impressed. They will think I have been slaving away in the kitchen for hours! Just a couple of queries Gina, did you use cheap lemonade (the stuff that doesn't taste at all like lemons), did you use single or double cream? Thanks in advance. x

Wow Gina, that's one yummy recipe. Now, I am really poor at baking but I'll give it a go and see whether the dough will co-operate :)
