I finally got around to buying one of these...and we absolutely love all the
yummy winter stews, soups and curries it can produce - most recipes have
come from these books..the Sally Wise one in particular is fantastic..simple
but delicious flavours and easy recipes
And a couple of online recipes Irish Stew and Orange Mustard Pork
I'd love to hear of any slow cooker faves you may have :) Gx
mm can't wait to try out the recipe for irish stew.. M would like the pork, I don't eat it, but it sounds yummy.

Sally Wise has been the inspiration for a lot of slow cooking around here, haven't tried any of the puddings yet...the roast chicken is delish!

Aren't they wonderful things the slow cookers!! Especially with large families you just throw it all in!! I cooked some corned beef in ours last night and it was lovely and tender. Can't say I have honestly followed a recipe but am off to check out those links now. I was just looking at your hummus recipe and wondered where you get the tahini from? Can you pick it up in Coles or Woolies? I have looked for it before with no success, (don't really know what it looks like?) I have for some reason 3 tins of chickpeas in my pantry that I really have to use!! Thanks G, hope you are well. Ax :0)
