right now I'm going through a white gesso on kraft phase..which is rather fitting as I've recently made the Kraft it Up challenge design team!..keep your eye on the blog for the first challenge to go up on 1st August and it's such a fun one!
here's a layout using the gorgeous July Nook kit.. I didn't plan on it ending up quite this minimalist but once I got to this point, didn't think it needed anything else..

I've been playing with some Lil' Red Rocket yummies this week and created this layout of my beautiful girls...
I sprayed over a butterfly diecut with a brown and yellow glimmer mists..
the adore flag and twine are from LRR and the little resin rose is from D-Lish Scraps..
and this cute squirrel button from LRR was perfect for a card..

it's been just 3 days since I received my June Nook kit and I've churned out 2 layouts and 2 cards already....here they are..except for one layout which is for an upcoming challenge on the Nook forum and blog..I'll share that one in a few days..
I've used the fragmented flower template from TCW and some white Mister Huey as a backdrop..
I'm loving the texture of these corrugated card trees from Jillibean Soup..

I've been having a blast, scrapping with the October Afternoon 'Sasparilla' line in this months Nook kit!...at first glimpse I thoght, that's pretty 'boyish..might be a struggle to scrap girls'...but how wrong was I ? It's very versatile, I love the woodgrain elements and the papers and stickers are so cool..
This layout of Rhi, doing her fave thing on a weekend (second only to art) using some paper strips, buttons, glimmer mist and OA sprinklers, gesso and handcut stars.. I 've also used my left overs from the punch circles in my tutorial to add some negative space..
I ♥ woodgrain and love how it adds a rich earthy background to cards..

It's my first month designing for My Scrapbook Nook and I was lucky enough to play with this gorgeous kit..sooo much fun!
here's a card I've made using the main kit plus the MME stamp add-on..
I made the flower with the ruffled, stretchy ribbon in the kit..and added a MME brad to the centre
