Once again Studio 1440 is sponsoring the latest challenge at Kraft + and it's an amazing challenge this time!
Here's my take..
I've created a mixed media background using gesso, distress stains, white pen, graphite and stamping..
Studio Fourteen40 products used are: arrowhead wood veneer, journaling sheet, use your words and cute moustache flair

Not much scrapping has been going on here lately..but this month I'm on the GDT for the Kraft+ October challenge.. along with the lovely Sandra Allan from Studio Fourteen40 and we're sharing posts using some gorgeous embellishments from S1440.. The Challenge this month is such a beautiful one!..check it out here.. it's all about feathers and natural elements and of course the classic kraft background..
Here's my take..
The gorgeous wood veneer feathers (original and #2) fit the criteria perfectly. After painting the tips with gesso, added a few silver birch twigs and loosely wrapped them all together in embroidery thread and securing the bundle with glue dots..
I’ve added select words from the Unknown Destination and She is Beautiful Use Your Words, The journal spot is from Always 2 little labelz collection
the ‘love you’ flair makes a perfect title for the layout and is available in Confetti set #7

It's time for a brand new challenge at Kraft+ and I think this would have to be my fave to date.. so much inspo included in the mood board, I was inspired by the olive wall, earthy colours, denim, ampersand, vintage books and circular beads, which I've replicated here with enamel dots, buttons and stickers..
just look at the possibilities you can draw for your project..check out some amazing examples by the Kraft+ DT, guest designers and sponsor designers on the blog post here..

There's a fun retro recipe challenge up at Kraft+ this month, not a palette I would normally scrap with but really loving the bright colours in this combo, they were perfect for a Spring garden theme..

there's also plenty of inspiration and ideas to get you started on the first challenge..which is a ripper! 'Mango Breeze' provides a gorgeous soft and summery palette to play with...
here's my take..
I've used a Crafters Workhop stencil and mists on the background and various pattern papers and scraps, journaling tags, buttons and threads.. buttons are a great way to add pops of colour from the palette..
