finally sharing this layout created using the current Studio Fourteen40 sketch..(didn't realise it was sitting in draft..oops!) It was a fun sketch incorporating the background and a great way to use up some tags as well..
I've used this cute flair from the Thrift Shop collection along with Thrift shop label and wooden hearts..

It's time for a brand new challenge at Kraft+ and I think this would have to be my fave to date.. so much inspo included in the mood board, I was inspired by the olive wall, earthy colours, denim, ampersand, vintage books and circular beads, which I've replicated here with enamel dots, buttons and stickers..

there's another gorgeous colour combo challenge at Scrap the Girls this month.. here's my take..
I've created the background with gesso, distress stains, glimmer mist, ink and stamping..
the flair is from evalicious and I dyed the Heidi Swapp alphabet to match the background colours..

Studio Fourteen40 has kicked off their very first scrap challenge this month..and it's a beautiful colour combo!..here's my take..
I've created the background using distress stain and glimmer mist and layered some paper scraps..
adding some sequins, enamel dots and wood veneer chevrons.. The white script is just handwriting in white signo pen..
the cool light bulb flair is from the 'every day #7 set'..
here's the full combo - featuring lush purple, lilac, pink, navy teal and aqua..so beautiful..hope you can join in..you have until 25th April to enter..
better late than never, the first fabulous and hugely successful challenge at K+ has been followed up with another great challenge, this time it's a fun sketch plus 'all that glitters' theme... you can find the post here.. there's still plenty of time to join in!..

I’ve coloured the sweet vellum butterfly (soon to be released) to co-ordinate with the background; using a combination of distress ink and glimmer mist
the journal tag with ampersand is from the 'thriftshop' labelz' set..
the flair is from the 'dali #1' set.. and the crush ribbon adds a lovely soft texture when gathered and fastened with tiny attachers..
the little arrowhead wood veneers are a new release..

there's also plenty of inspiration and ideas to get you started on the first challenge..which is a ripper! 'Mango Breeze' provides a gorgeous soft and summery palette to play with...
here's my take..
I've used a Crafters Workhop stencil and mists on the background and various pattern papers and scraps, journaling tags, buttons and threads.. buttons are a great way to add pops of colour from the palette..
